Have noticed my newly built 304 motor using a bit of coolant. Occurred to me that I didn't put any sealant on the head bolts when installing, I seem to recall thinking that was only needed on 308s but apparently that's not the case.
hoping i can just pull the rocker covers off and drain the coolant, let it all dry out, then pull out one head bolt at a time, coat in sealant and then reinstall without pulling the heads etc.
can anyone tell me which bolts exactly go through to the water jackets?
and has anyone had success with regular thread sealant or do i have to get the holden stuff?
