I am selling the single turbo Hotside piping from my 8 Second VK Calais. Included in the sales is both cast iron manifolds, cross over piping and the pipe work all the way to the turbo.
It will fit into all VB-S Commodore, mounting the turbo on the drivers side, it will require the car to run manual steering to give clearance for the cross over piping. It is designed to allow you to run a factory water pump and clutch fan, but it also fits with twin falcon thermo fans. It also runs with a standard alternator bracket (vn-s style) and large or small style starter. It may need to have the rack relocated 20mm towards the drivers side for piping clearance, but with a vl manual rack this may not be required. I may sell my modified VK k frame if the buyer wants.
The piping will take any of the following turbos, T51R, GT4202, S400, GT40 etc, basically any T4 turbined turbo, it will leave enough room to run a small air cleaner on a GT4202, or with a smaller turbo like the T51R you can run a elbow and put a large air cleaner under the guard. It is flanger also for a Turbosmart 48mm Wastegate.
The piping is all made from schedule 40 mild steel, it support the weight of the turbo no problems at all, it is all still wrapped with black heat wrap, but it is a little worn in a couple of spots.
All you will need to do is fabricate a dump pipe for your turbo, a pipe from your Wastegate either screamer or plumbed back into the dump pipe, and cut a hole in your inner guard for the sump pipe.
With a GTX4202r these manifold have supported 900hp with no issues at all. On the street they have supported 500rwhp for a few thousand km's with zero issues and only 11psi of boost. I am happy to supply some tech support and point the buyer in the right direction with what other components are required to for up a turbo to your 304/355/383.
