ht monaro power earth problem help

hi all i have a problem getting power or earth to fire up the old girl everything is hooked up everyhting is brand new including new wireing harness from classic wiring looms i have a earth from bellhousing to chassis than from block to negative on battery than from battery to chassis
my positive is going directly to the starter motor than there is a wire that goes from stater to alternater
these are a photo of the wires to starter would anyone know which goes where thanks
