What air cleaner for 202.

I'm currently rebuilding my 202 and doing a few little things to it. Crow 35666 cam, YT head, electronic ignition ect, and I was wondering what is the best air cleaner to run. I'm getting a lot of different opinions from people. Some say keep the standard filter because it helps the venturi and allows it to breath better, some say put on a open chrome style one to let it breath more, and another one was to make up a cold air intake system for it off a hose to the standard housing, to let it get some cool air instead of the hot stuff coming up from the motor.
What are your opinions and what have you got to back them up.
