th400 problems

hey guys i have finally got my stroker finished and in my commi. i hav a th400 thats just been rebuilt will all the fruit including manual valvebody. i took the car for a drive today and discovered that i hav no reverse. it shifts 1, 2 and three beautifully and makes no noises.
i made sure i correctly adjusted the linkage, and wen if i slowly bring the tbar from p to n it doesnt even flintch.

any suggestions.
