joined the forum as i'll soon be the owner of a '66 Barracuda. well technically i'm an owner, iv'e just got to wait for the car to swim over from the US.
the reason for joining an Aussie forum is that i intend to convert it to RHD. most of the conversion should be relatively easy including moving the V8 engine over a tad to clear the columb. fabrication isn't a problem either. i'll probably keep to a steering box so thats where you may be able to help.
i'll be on the look out for an AP6 or similar power steering box and drag/idler link. also photos will help of cars with no engine fitted to help my planning ;)
and just for a bit of background i work on old Jaguars for a living. restoration, upgrades and race preperation. CKL Developments
we also work on other makes like this GT40 but our main area is 50s and 60's Jaguars
i restored this car winter 2011

it spent 30 years in the British National Motor Museum looking like this before we restored it to original condition
