Guys, need some advice cruising on the weekend in chev 383 HJ powerskid thru first and into second then a big over rev without touching the shifter... I could find 1st, neutral and reverse but no second or top gear unless I gave it a bootful.. Got it home lots of oil all over the gear box but not out the breather, transcooler is all good tranny oil was missing a little bit of around half a litre... but didnt have time to get under it have a good luck just parked it in the corner for the time being..
Any ideas on what the culprit might be would be greatly appreciated as always...
