from my lack of carb knowledge
i have worked out that the CFM is air the carb can flow
now if i run an open carb say 600cfm holley with no aircleaner it should flow close to 600cfm right?
well if i put on a restrictive stock holden aircleaner will this lower my cfm?
reason i ask is i have a new 600 holley and i have a stock 253 in my commodore
i'm planning on running my reco early red heads, KC brock manifold, mild cam and 600 holley
i know the holley will be too big but if i restrict airflow wouldn't this be good? then i can jet as required
most people dyno tune the car without the aircleaner attached but wouldn't this change the tune?
