HK Wagon VL or VN Diff Options

Hi there,

I have been searching over the web for the past few weeks reading different views on this option but I haven't really got a confirmed answer.

I have a HK Wagon in which I am currently restoring.

The Motor I have is a 308 with a TH350 Gearbox on the back.

I'm wanting change the rear end to Disk brakes.

I have the options of buying a

-VS Sedan rear end with a 3.08 diff (Measuring 1560mm Disk to Disk) or
-VL Rear end with a 3.45 diff (which is apparently narrower.)

The rear rims I am looking at are 17x8 and will lower about 4" in the back.

Any help would be much appreciated.
