Ive recently stroked my 308 out to 383, it seems now that it has been stroked I have less cclearance in my sump.
The sump has been modified already to fit the Volvo crossmember one of the conrods now scrapes the sump, only just. This is not a huge problem can modify the sump to make clearance.
The main issue that concerns me is the clearance of the oil pick up, which is now almost touching the sump. Any ideas what the optimum clearance would be? Last thing I want is to get it all running and have the thing starving oil.
