I have been around these forums for a bit and thought it would be time to post up my build, as I am hopefully getting to the pointy end of it. Car was originally a VK Berlina with a 202 carby but is being replaced by a strong 308. This is what I have collected overtime.
VN V8 K-Frame an powersteering rack which gives more clearance for extractors with injected heads
VS 5L Drop Tank
1" Brake booster and Master
Twin thermos
VL 28 Spline Diff
T5 Manual transmission
V8 Pedal Box
Dellow Bellhousing
As far as the motor goes here's what's I have for it-
Standard Stroke 308 Black motor
HE High energy sump
VN heads
Pacemaker Extractors
Speed Pro Forged flat tops
Holley 670 street avenger Carb
Harrop single plain high rise manifold
Engine work will be getting done in the next few months with any luck, comp will be around 11.1 with a camtech 248 668 solid cam.
Shopping list consists of MSD 6AL, MSD blaster coil, Holley blue or Carter fuel pump.
Have been working on getting the body done on the car first so it has been stripped out and is currently getting a respray in Aztec Red, reason I went this colour is that it's a deeper red and will hopefully not go orange in the sun. Here are a few pics over time. Also picked up a set of Brocky Aeros today which I will give a bit of a tidy up and some new boots.
