I've just bought a VH SLE and i'm tossing between modifying, keeping original or a mix of both.
At the moment, it's got the humble 253 in it. I was thinking of working this motor while still retaining factory look.
I'll be doing an overbore, flat tops and some head work to reach around 10:1 compression. I'm going for a baby solid cam with strengthened valve train.
However, I want to keep the original manifold, Rochester carby and air cleaner for that factory look.
Will this limit the power potential..?
