First question I've got is how do modern manufacturers get the temp gauges to sit so rock solid regardless of the air temp? Do they supersize the cooling system and rely on the thermostat to regulate flow, or is it a bit more complicated?
So along that theory, and before I spend money on something that will become obsolete, is it worth getting the 3 core radiator cleaned out, scrubbing out the block and possibly fitting thermo fans to create that sort of temperature stability? Will that be enough for the VS-VT 5ltr that will make its way in there?
